The Drawing room

The Drawing room where guests can relax and unwind after a hard day. There are plenty of things to do, newspapers are provided daily and there are board games from scrabble to monopoly. Or if you are that expert pianist why not try your tune on the piano. Or simply just sit back and relax and listen to some country music with a cup of tea or coffee.

The Dining Room

Here guests will have breakfast in the morning and an evening meal if requested at night. We like to make everyone feel welcome so we try to make all our guests get to know a bit about each other so we use the en famille routine where guests all sit together. Breakfast ranges from farmhouse Scottish or Continental (or something in between).

Kirkton Barns Country HouseTestimonials

"Nice Hideaway in St Andrews"

We stayed at Kirkton Barns Country House for 3 nights, the room was large and well decorated. It was nice to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble for our host James. His father Rory is a lovely man with lots of stories. Both had great knowledge of the local area. I arrived by train and got a cab to the B&B. It was a nice walk each morning to the bus which stops at the end of the farm track. I plan to return again in October and look forward to my next visit.
